New Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream location opening in Fort Wayne North on July 20!

A grand opening celebration for the new Fort Wayne North store is slated for July 20, the grand opening celebration will kick off at 11 a.m. and will also feature giveaways and surprises. The new Handel’s is located at 1808 W Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818.

Briana and Daniel Niedens and Zach Leffers will lead the newest Fort Wayne North location, who were all born and raised in Fort Wayne. The franchisees also lead the 4916 Illinois Road location.

“We are a family-owned business born right here in Fort Wayne. We are very active in the community and with our five children, so we wanted to be part of a brand that had those same family values,” said Daniel Niedens Co-Owner of the Fort Wayne Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream. “When we came across Handel’s, we felt those same family values. Added in that are fanatics about quality ice cream, we wanted to open this store so we can share our passion,” added Briana Niedens Co-owner of the Fort Wayne Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream.

Niedens and Zach Leffers note their love for the Fort Wayne community and everything it has to offer for fellow business owners. The franchisees chose this location out of convenience to customers and the neighboring retail synergy created by being around other restaurants and entertainment concepts.
