A linear motor that is used in various medical products.
SEOUL, KOREA, October 29, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — The CEO of ZeusTech Co. Ltd., Hongyun Kim, revealed that he was chosen for the Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP) of the British Government. Accordingly, ZeusTech plans to launch a full-fledged incursion into Europe through this.
The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) runs the Global Entrepreneur Program (GEP) for foreign innovative technology enterprises. Selected companies receive assistance moving to the UK, including expert coaching, business exchanges with counterparts there, networking to develop ties with investors, and expanding exports.
ZeusTech is a Korean start-up company with a high level of technology in the motor field capable of high-precision position control. CEO Hongyun Kim graduated from the Korea SMEs & Start-ups Agency (KOSME) in both Ansan and Cheonan. Additionally, Hongyun Kim established Enki Medical in China growing as a global company.
ZeusTech’s main product is a linear motor that moves in a straight line instead of rotating. It boasts a 12㎛ precision, which is more precise than existing products. By increasing speed and accuracy, ZeusTech has developed it into a tooth-processing machine that was primarily used in the semiconductor production process. This product makes the teeth and titanium abutment necessary for implant treatment at once, significantly shortening the production period. Furthermore, ZeusTech uses this motor to develop semiconductors, display motors, magnetic actuators, and hemodialysis machines.
Linear motors for semiconductors and displays are used to check defective LED points in the Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) process, prevent defects with lasers, and make good products. Since 2017, in particular, ZeusTech has developed hemodialysis machines as a project with the US Department of Defense. In brief, the linear motor is used to precisely control the amount of heparin.
In addition, the CEO recently established a company named Neranda Co., Ltd., a business for quarantine products, in collaboration with representatives Donghyun Kim and Hongjoong Jung, who are professionals in distribution. Neranda produces and sells sterilizing water named YIGER by leveraging ZeusTech’s motor and electrolysis technologies.
CEO Hongyun Kim is currently working as a research professor at the Korea University of Medicine and an adjunct professor at Sekyung University’s Drone Vehicles Department. Like this, he is showing prominence in developing various products and service industries (SIs). He stated, “We will take the lead as a leading R&D technology company through the NextUnicorn, an investment attraction platform, and Gangwon Start-up Business Projects.”
