Chacon and Villamor met early in their twenties while working as aircraft mechanics in South Florida. Their similar backgrounds, love of adventure and dreams of becoming successful entrepreneurs are only a few of the undeniable similarities that bond them together.
This Dynamic duo is always up for an adventure of epic proportions. From Alligator wrestling, housing pet pigs, and cross-country backpacking, this duo is unlike any franchisee Spaulding Decon has ever partnered with. They recounted a time when they decided to backpack through Asia. What started as a spontaneous trip to Korea, ended with a 4-year stay in the Philippines and an innovative business that made them the first to pioneer this type of venture. The two successfully started the first of its kind eco-friendly engraving and product customization company but due to post covid constraints, they decided to return home to Miami to embark on their next entrepreneurial journey.
Hector recalls the day a friend approached him to show him a video he had seen on YouTube “You have to take a look at this business! This is something only someone half as crazy as you would do”, his friend said. The moment Hector saw the video, he knew that Spaulding Decon was exactly the kind of business he and Juan would invest in. “I could not believe that there was actually a service that could help clean decomposition and that I had never so much as considered that someone would require these services,” said Juan, when asked how he felt when he learned about Spaulding Decon. Their interest in Spaulding was instant and they felt drawn to the opportunity to bring Spaulding’s array of niche services to South Florida.
