Dr. Linda Morel, of Downingtown, Pennsylvania is honored by the International Association of Who’s Who as one of America’s Most Influential Women for her outstanding achievements in leadership in trauma counseling.
DOWNINGTOWN, PA, May 18, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Dr. Morel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1971. In 1988, she was ordained as a non-denominational minister. Dr. Morel received a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology in 1994 from the University of Santa Monica, a Master’s Degree in Applied Theology in 1997 and a Doctorate in Spiritual Science from Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy in 2001.
Dr. Morel (aka Dr. Lin) spent almost 18 years as a board member and board chair for A Window Between Worlds. As board chair, she completed A Window Between Worlds’ Domestic Violence Leadership Training Program, the Annenberg Foundation’s Alchemy and Plus Leadership Programs, and the Magellan Health Care Facilitator Training Program.
Dr. Morel’s martial arts experience is extensive. Her journey began in 1965 in the study of judo, followed by in depth study of Korean Karate, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Aikido. In 1976, she and a partner opened the Academy of Asian Arts. A national karate champion and fifth-degree black belt, the Amateur Athletic Union presented her with State and National Silver Medals, Gold Medals and the New Jersey State Championship. She was also awarded Gold Medals from the Garden State Open Karate Championships and became an invited guest at the University of Beijing as part of the first good will martial arts tour to Mainland China in 1984.
Inspired by her time in Mainland China, Taipei, Taiwan and with indigenous peoples, Dr. Lin founded Lin Morel & Associates, a stress management coaching and consulting company. Her clients included executives and business professionals from the aerospace, education, banking, entertainment, healthcare, petrochemical and transportation industries. That role expanded to victims of domestic violence, women on welfare, veterans, native Americans and corporate leaders who came to find answers to their questions. She purchased land and founded the Endless Mountains Retreat Center in 1984. Incorporated in 2003, Dr. Lin has excelled as the Founder and CEO for Beyond Words Group Inc, formerly known as Lin Morel & Associates PA. This role has uniquely positioned her to work globally assisting thought leaders and those seeking to release issues blocking their success, including post-traumatic stress and trauma.
Dr. Lin has written eight books, including the best-selling books, “Soul Lifts: From Bumps to Brilliance” in 2014, and in 2020, Beyond Lovelyville: A Parable of Self-Awareness and Rising Above Trauma.
Dr. Morel attributes her success to her passion and desire to support thought leaders and those committed to sharing their wisdom and the possibilities that exist for everyone, regardless of their situation, circumstance or environment.
